URC Holds Distributor Gathering to Celebrate the Kick-Off Launching of Munchy’s
In remark of the launch of Munchy’s, PT. URC Indonesia held a Distributor Gathering on 4-5 October 2023 located in Bekasi, West Java.
This event was attended by Owners and Operational Managers representing distributors throughout Indonesia. This event aims to strengthen and encourage collaboration with the addition of a new Biscuit category, Munchy’s, which is now part of URC. Munchy’s is a premium biscuit imported from Universal Robina Malaysia which has various well-known brands such as Lexus, Oat Krunch, Munchy’s Crackers, Topmix and Funmix.
For the starter, all participants were headed to our Sulawesi Factory to join the Plant Tour, where distributor representatives were invited to see the production process of one of URC’s flagship products, namely Piattos. Apart from that, an introductory session was also held with departments that are involved in the sales/invoicing process, such as the Treasury and Credit and Account Receivable (CCD) teams.
Furthermore, the highlight of event, the distributors were invited to have dinner together and attend the Munchy’s launch presentation delivered by the General Manager, Mr. Taufiqurrahman Basthami, then continued with a Marketing presentation by the Marketing Director, Ms. Rachmawati Sutarto and a Sales presentation by Mr. Fredericus Pambudi. Apart from that, this event is an opportunity for URC to give awards to distributors who demonstrated extraordinary performance and achievements in the previous year.
The following day, distributors were invited to participate in a tactical presentation where URC explained the process of navigating Munchy’s transition from its previous distribution company as well as marketing strategy to be implemented in Q4 2023 and 2024. We aimed to ensure URC’s ability and commitment to remain competitive in an increasingly competitive market, intensively with the hope that Munchy products can develop more rapidly throughout Indonesia.
