URC Indonesia is Great Place to Work-Certified
Universal Robina Corporation (URC) lives up to its core value of ‘putting people first’ as its Indonesia office received Great Place to Work certification last March 24, 2022.
“URC is not just a place where we work, it is our second home that gives us special meaning,” URC Indonesia Country General Manager, Taufiq Basthami said.
The certification is based from Great Place to Work® ASEAN’s Trust Index Employee survey where companies are assessed on five dimensions – Credibility, Respect, Fairness, Pride and Camaraderie. These determine how consistent organizations are in keeping their workplace safe for continuous employee growth.
To keep its employees engaged, URC has been implementing various activities focused on employees’ health and well-being, as well as career development. In Indonesia, the company has implemented flexible working arrangement through remote working policy; and facilitated various sports and well-being clubs, employee day, and holistic talent development program at various levels.
“We make sure that everyone who joins the company will feel welcome and that they reach their full potential,” URC Indonesia Country Human Resource Manager, Fajar Indrianto shared.
In the Philippines, URC has been implementing internal employee programs such as ‘URCFit’ which aims to build the holistic development of its employees.
“Our people are the foundations of the company and we’ll strive to maintain URC as a safe and healthy environment for them,” URC Chief Human Resource Officer Lisa Abalajon shared.
Great Place to Work® ASEAN is a group of data scientists whose mission is to help organizations become great places to work for all. The team developed a trust model, Great Place to Work Trust Model, which helps assess the overall experience of employees from different companies globally.
